On Monday morning, this amazing book, CHARACTER TOOLKIT FOR TEACHERS arrived on my desk at The Anglican Schools Commission at Church House in Brisbane. I am passionate about Character Education and have had the joy of visiting the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues at Birmingham University in the UK. One of the students from the Jubilee Centre, the delightful Elizabeth Wright and her colleague, Frederika Roberts have written this outstanding book. This is the book that most teachers I work with would love to have on their desk. Teachers who are passionate about enabling their students to thrive and flourish will enjoy delving in to this book daily. It is a practical, easy to use toolkit, but based on the research we can trust.

I am particularly thrilled because I have been getting to know Elizabeth for quite some time now. She is an Australian Paralympic swimmer who has won 3 medals, including a bronze at the 1996 Summer Paralympics and a silver at the 2000 Summer Paralympics. She is an accomplished athlete, a brilliant scholar and with her colleague, Frederika Roberts, has developed a programme called RWS- Resilience Wellbeing Success. http://rws.today/

Elizabeth is a truly inspirational woman who has used her personal experience and study to write this fabulous book. A huge thank you to Elizabeth and Frederika for sharing their knowledge and expertise in such a great little book for all of us to use.
